The launch of Galaxy Tab Internet tablet was marked with the catchy words of iPad alternative and iPad killer. Various studies were conducted to test the growth and impact of Samsung Galaxy Tab Internet tablet and results did show that the Galaxy Tab has left its impact on the brain of customers. The theory gets a conformation with Samsung proudly announcing the sale of 1 million Galaxy Tab tablets. The number was 600,000 a few weeks ago!
Initially Samsung had set a self target of 1 million sales for their Galaxy Tab Internet tablet during the launch of this Internet gadget but somehow they seem to have achived their target well over time with full month of holiday season still left to pass by. Seeing the opportunity Samsung has raised their bar to 1.5 million sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab Internet tablet by the end of this year. If somehow they achieve this sudden dream then the Galaxy Tab will surely be tagged as iPad killer! Also, one should not be surprised if they end up selling more than 1.5 million Galaxy Tab Internet tablets by the end of this year.
10 percent of these sales have been in Korea where the Galaxy Tab was launched on November 13th. Samsung is now gearing up to launch the 10 inches Galaxy Tab Internet tablet during the first half o 2011.
